Kim Bartholomew is an extremely competent and caring dental hygienist who last worked for Wahl Family Dentistry in 1996. Since then she has married, started a family (her beautiful daughter is now 16), and moved downstate, but she is back at our office, filling in some evenings. Please say hi to her when you see her. Dr. Swati Mazumder is a graduate of the Guru Nanak Institute of Dental Science and Research in Kolkata, India, and we are pleased to have her observing the dentists doing procedures at Wahl Family Dentistry. She moved to Delaware recently with her family and dreams of returning to school to qualify for her license to practice in the United States. Welcome Dr. Mazumder!

Our family (including Karma) enjoyed participating in the Faithful Friends Mutt Mile and 5k fundraiser. We adopted Karma from Faithful Friends about a year ago.

Our patient Abigail was Student of the Day today at Immaculate Heart of Mary School. She was also Patient of the Day along with her brother Jonathan at Wahl Family Dentistry! Way to go Abigail.

My brother John (the ophthalmologist) loves hiking along the Brandywine River near his home. He usually sees lots of wildlife, including beavers in the water, which he captured in this video.

The whole office celebrated our hygienist Sue’s 20 year anniversary at Wahl Family Dentistry at the Olive Garden. We were pleased that her mom, dad, Aunt Maryann, husband Jeff and son Hunter could join us also. Noah was on Fahrenheit at Hershey Park with his friend and could not attend. Thanks Sue — our patients appreciate your competence and your gentle touch. Here’s to another 20 years.
